Increase Your LinkedIn Engagement By Posting Videos

Justin Babcock • August 19, 2022

It's not surprising that posts with videos get more engagement on LinkedIn than those without.

Videos, even short animations grab people's attention. They're also a great way to add some personality to your content, which is something that can be lacking on LinkedIn.

Engaging content gets people to click & relevant content gets people to take action. If you have a video about a topic that your target market is interested in, they'll be much more likely to click and watch.

End your video and post with a strong call to action to get people to take the next step.

And finally, follow these simple steps to quickly post your video from your computer.

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝟏 Go to linkedin.com/feed/.

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝟐 Click on the video button under the start a post field at the top of your feed.

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝟑 Click on the "Select video to share" link.

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝟒 Select the video from your computer.

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝟓 [optional] Scroll down, click on the "Select Thumbnail" link, and load your image.

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝟔 Click on the done button in the lower right-hand corner of the post.

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝟕 Paste your text into the "what do you want to talk about?" field.

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝟖 Click on the post button in the lower right-hand corner of the post.

Congratulations if you were following along because you just posted to LinkedIn from your computer.
